I've had a bit of a brewing hiatus of late, hoping to get going again soon.
As a result of this my malt is well over a year old, maybe 18 months in some cases.
Bin it & get fresh, or use it regardless?
What do you reckon?

I guess it depends on how well its been stored. Give it a visual inspection to look for mould or mice droppings and then bung a few grains in your mouth - if they are nice and crunchy they may well be fine. If they are soft they may not be any good or you just did not see the droppings you are now chewing on!
