UK wheat malt v Dingemans wheat

Post by danwlx » Tue Feb 14, 2012 9:37 pm

Hi all,

I've raised this in another thread but thought it might be better here. I am looking at a recipe that uses UK wheat malt. I have some Dingemans wheat malt in stock (http://www.themaltmiller.co.uk/index.ph ... ductId=229). Can I just use this instead? What is the difference in taste?

Thanks for any help.

You can use it. The difference in taste depends, If you are using a lot of specialty malts or a lot of hops or a german wheat beer yeast any difference would be hard to find.
I'm just here for the beer.
