Aromatic malt

I've never used it so I've bought some with the idea of replacing caragold in an IPA/blonde style of beer. I'm using !^)g Delta and Citra, all added during the final 15m and after the boil has ended Ignoring any effect on colour has anyone tried this? Is it a stupid idea?

No, not stupid, but it is very strong flavour so go easy on the aromatic for a UK style beer.

Cheers I was thinking 200g in a 25l length, thats 3.4% I'm using 4kg Crisps pale malt and 1.5 kg light wheat malt
