Bonlander® Munich Malt

Post by bert7cosby » Thu Apr 09, 2015 9:01 am

Morning, I am trying to find someone that stocks Bonlander Munich Malt in the Uk with very little success. Do any of you clever brewers know where I may get some?? failing that could you recommend a suitable alternative.
Thanks
Brett

What's special about it? Most use Weyermann.

I was just trying to keep as close to a recipe I was following as possible, I may go for the Weyermann Munich type 1

Trust me, you are better off using a light colored continental Munich malt. Bonlander pales in comparison to the real thing. I do not know of a single home brewing supply store in my area that would choose to stock Bonlander over continental Munich malt.
