Roast Barley

I have bought a bag of roast Barley for my stout,do I need to crush this as it came whole.

Yes, you need to crush it.

If you don't have a mill you could put it in between a tea towel and go at it with a rolling pin.

use a mortel and pestle for small amounts

I know you've done it now, but for next time, if you have a food processor, that can be used to crush grain as well, where the degree of crush isn't important.
