Anyone use HB? I got my typical 60% mash efficiency, but it's the blandest 2-row I've tasted. That's with 50 IBU's from Warrior pellets.
I have never tasted such a clean wort, and I don't necessarily mean that in a good way. :shock:

I've never seen it in the homebrew trade here. The usual suspects here are Muntons, Warminster and Fawcetts.

They're from Haddington near Edinburgh, I know this because my grandparents live next to the maltings :D

What EBC is it kilned to?

I have no idea what it was kilned to. Next time I go back to the shop, I'll try and get more information. It's listed as Maris Otter Pale Malt.
That rich, nutty flavor was not present. It'll be interesting to see how it turns out.
