Has anyone tried malting barley at home.I have never done but have access to 25kg of propino that will be available next week.I think it maybe best to do this is 5kg batches.Any suggestions/advice would be welcome.

just wondering if you had any luck malting your own barley in the end? I'd be very interested in your experiences. Thinking about the possibilities of making an old brown (blown) malt right the way from start to finish, but the complexity of malting (timing, availability to turn the malt, space etc) put me off a bit.
