Does anyone know if the Home Brew shop in Farnborough crushes on site?
I have inadvertently bought 25 Kg of UNcrushed grain from the Hop and Grape (My fault, not theirs).
Patsy has said I can return it but the cost will be a tenner. I thought that if teh shop in Farnborough crushed then they might crush a bag for less than a tenner.
Anyone know?

Don't know about that shop but though i'd suggest another line of attack if they can't. Try your local micro-brewery they might have a mill and they are generaly friendly guy's who started out as homebrewers if my local is anything to go by.

jon - get Ant to bring his grain mill along to the next brewclub meet. I'm sure the landlord won't mind 25kg of grain being crushed in the snug.
Not sure if Farnborough crush their own...sorry.

Jon,
Farnborough do not crush their own (at least not the base malts but I dopn't know about the specialities). They will of course sell you a mill but that's a bit more expensive than the tenner postage to return the sack
