Im currently trying to get some myself after hearing about how great it was in a stout on chop and brew.
As seen here where they explain the great benefits of this malt http://chopandbrew.com/2014/04/29/chop- ... tout-fest/
But it seems thats its easy to get in the states but not here.
Ive looked into getting some direct but shipping is high for one bag.I have contacted rob at the malt miller who is willing to get in but said its best to get a whole pallet as cost is same.
I said to make it worthwhile i would ask on here if there was others intrested in giving this great sounding malt a try ?
Just to add im not linked to the company who make this malt just a homebrewer is keen to try this malt out for myself .
Irish Stout Malt is characterized by plump
kernels with very low protein and high extract.
The kilning temperature is kept low (82-84 ̊C)
resulting in a low colored base wort with higher
enzyme levels. The Irish Stout Malt is a versatile
malt that performs well in the brewhouse.
Typically used as the base for the top tier Irish
Stout brands, it can be used in almost any
application where traditional English type malts
are preferred
