Interesting read (if you have the stamina, it's quite big). I always thought Crisp were a bit "contemporary" with their products and this perhaps explains the reason?

I never understood the reason for UK home-brewers to pick "Continental" and American malt products over the British products (yes I did, it was ill-informed UK home-brewers blindly following what the Americans did, and to hell with the cost). But this article would suggest UK maltsters were (once) a bit stuck in their ways?

UK malts are as good as anywhere. Better even? Read the article if you've any doubt and it might save you a few quid next time you're buying malt.
