Calculate amount of hops for wort size before boil or after

Do i calculate the amount of hops i require for the amount of wort collected at the start of boil or for the amount of wort to be collected after the boil?

You should calculate for the amount of wort after boiling (including that retained by the hops) . . . In practice it makes some difference, but is it really important???

Thanks for clarifying that for me aleman, seems i have now over done it by approx 6g of EK goldings then in the hogs back TEA clone,:oops: will just leave it a bit longer if its too harsh.
