new growths

Post by jean-yves » Wed Feb 08, 2006 8:46 pm

the new growths of my hop are already comming out of the soil

I've moved 3 rhizomes last month to give them more place, I was impress to see how big they was after only 2 years :o

I've also bought some more hop plants, but not all the varieties I was looking for :(
do you know some farmers who could sell me some rhizomes?

not really yet :(
but the plants know that it is comming soon.
the part of France where I live ( brittany, i'm more breton than french  ) have a special climate, spring arrive 2-3 weeks before the others parts, here it's never too cold ( we didn't have snow on the sea side) I think that the south cornwall is similar B)

Well done, JY! :D

They look good. How are you treating your hops after picking? Do you dry them somehow?
