I've tasted it in four beers: Alpha Hop Trial, Lagunitas Born Yesterday Fresh Hop Pale Ale and Equinox Ale, Schlafly Hop Trial.
Very new US high-alpha hop. Intense black currant, grapefruit and other citrus fruit like so many American hops, but also lots of black pepper and floral notes like a noble hop, tropical fruitiness like a southern hemisphere hop, and even some cool weedy, herbal tea notes, mustard, fennel, horseradish, juniper & rye. Delicious and complex.

I don't have Seymours gift for articulating hop flavours but i'll just add that it goes really well in a rye pale ale. I used about 5% crystal rye, 5% aromatic, 5% carapils and dumped 100g equinox in at flame out. The slightly spicy rye flavour and fruity, peppery hops complement each other very well but that's just my taste. I used WLP051 which is a great yeast in my opinion.
