Adnams use Columbus for bittering and Cascade and Citra at the end and dry hop with Citra to finish.

"Brewed with Pale Ale and Chocolate malt and First Gold hops, Broadside is a dark ruby red beer rich in fruitcake aromas, almonds and conserved fruit." From their website.

I use First Gold a lot myself very nice hop. I am brewing I.P.A. now where I used 85g of First Gold and the rest will Be going into dry hop. First Gold is one of Britain's finest hops.

For last 6 months the pub I claimed my local had Ghost Ship on tap and I had many pints of it because it was the most hoppy beer available. I'd never say this beer was dry hopped, nor it saw any significant late hop addition so this news come as big surprise. Good beer anyway.

My source is impeccable about the hops used. I don't know what Adnams do exactly so you may be right to be surprised, the dry hopping was suggested to me as a way of getting that lovely aroma up front and centre. I am visiting the brewery again soon so will endeavour to get to the truth.
