Well eventually got my refund. No problem after 2nd email
No hops this year, nevermind, I'll buy another plant next spring.
Told the guy at tomatoplantsuk that I'd still consider buying another plant off him next year.
He said I was very fair considering I got a sick plant and that if I sent him an email before buying he'd bung me a few freebies.
Fair enough.

Glad you got sorted, mine seem to be okay now, a few leaves have appesred on the golden tassles and the primadonna had around 4 bines and each around a foot high. I'll upload a pic

Has anyone around here ordered hop rhizomes from Willingham Nurseries?

I'm hoping to get some planted soon ready for next year. I began looking into growing some hops some time ago, just as I was getting back into brewing and sorting out equipment when I found Willingham. We've bought plants from them over the years (and they were always top quality) but not in the last few since we moved abroad.

They also seem to have quite an extensive range too:

Bramling Cross
Nugget
Casade
Perle
Challenger
Phoenix
Cobb
Progress
Early Bird
Saaz
English Mathon
Santiam
Fuggle
Spalter Select
Hallertauer
Target
Kent Goldings
Tettnanger
Mount Hood
WGV
Northdown
Willamette

You can subscribe your email address to receive updates of what plants are ready, when and pre order them.
