Go with 60g of Saaz to replace the Perle.
The flavour will not be as the recipe but it should still be nice :D
BTW steel toe cap boots can be had new for £8

As the Perle's would have been bittering hops, you'll be fine using any of the other hops as replacements so long as the IBU stays the same. As styrians are usually about 5% alpha, 1 1/2 oz is about right as is 60g of additional saaz.

Generally Biere de Garde uses noble European hops which only one of those is. Not that it's really important in this case as Northern brewer and cluster are pretty clean hops. Just don't use Target

The actual usual hop for these beers is Streisselspalter - but I don't think that's available in HB shops here. It's fairly similar to Hallertau Hersbrucker.

cheers ! :D youve saved my day . i presumed that when you adjust hops to get the same bitterness you go by the alpha % , so if pearl is 8% and im using saaz which is 4% you would just double it ? or have i got that wrong?

Absolutely right colin :)
As DaaB said
(aa% of old hops/aa% of substitute hops)xold weight=new weight of substitue
So if you had used say Goldings at 4.4% aa it would have been (8/4.4)*30 = 54.5g
Easy 8)
