Too many hops?

Post by Manngold » Mon Jul 28, 2014 9:29 pm

Bit of an odd one, and wasn't sure how to word the subject. I have just dry hopped a kit IPA, but wasn't paying attention and have added 100g of cascade to a 23L batch. Is that considered to be too much? I didn't make a hop tea or anthing like that to begin with tho.

Thanks

J

Hop presence fades. If it's too hoppy for you put it aside for 6 months and try some then.
I'm just here for the beer.

That's exactly what I dry hop my stock IPA with - 100g Cascade. I tried substituting with 60g Goldings once, not nearly as good.
Best wishes
