quick answer needed please

Post by timbo41 » Sun Aug 31, 2014 1:52 pm

Have in last two hours picked about 400 g of wet and wilds. Now have two options
Use to dry hop a golden ale that's just dropped to 1010

Use in short boil with dme to go with a coopers stout...ditch style sort of

Don't want to waste any time here...any opinions.

They will match better in the golden ale. I vote for the dry hop.

Nice work, sounds like a fun experiment.

You have more than enough to do both. Use 100g to dry hop your golden ale. Then split the rest for your Ditch Stout: 100g at 60 min, 100g at 20 min, 100g at flame-out then steep.

Well not exactly to plan....weight was considerably less once I'd de-leafed it....so gave them a five minute boil and twenty minute steep with dme and coopers stout

Hey...
there's a big old harvest...and I go past everyday!!!
I think these could go an extra week for full potential anyway
