Storing Fresh Hops

Just got my first batch of fresh hops from H&G. They are the fresh ones and come packed in plastic rather than the foil packs. What is the best way of keeping them fresh? At the moment I have put the bag into a plastic box and then into the freezer. Does this sound okay?
