Opal, WTB or substitute

Post by DeadFall » Tue Feb 14, 2017 1:15 pm

I can't find opal anywhere for sale and have a recipe (Oktoberfest) that calls for it. Does anyone know where I can buy some and if not what would be a good substitute. Or a good oktoberfest recipe that uses easy to find hops (all grain).

Any of the German noble hops would work. Use whatever is most readily available at your LHBS. You can't go wrong with mittelfruh.
I'm just here for the beer.
