So I must confess I spent a year in Australia 20 years ago, and retain a love of Australian beer, or a "case of P***" as they call it. I mainly drank VB and on a warm day for a "hard earned thirst" there is little better, although various others like Tooheys, Crown or whatever the RSL had on draft was almost as good.
I came up with my VB clone attempt recipe...

And it's pretty good, but I was wondering if anyone has ever sourced Pride of Ringwood or Super Pride in the UK. I saw some listed on Amazon for crazy money and out of stock, can it be obtained at sensible prices? I'd quite like to try the real hops for Aussie beer, maybe even grow them, but not paying through nose for the privilege!
Anyone???
Cheers!

If you have a hop related question about International Bittering Units or alpha acid, post it here!
