Decided to take out my saved yeast out of fridge to prepare a starter for next brew.Only been out overnight when there was a sudden cartoon Acme CABOOM!!It's gone all over the kitchen Well at least i know it was viable if not useable now.
My wife even cleared it up for me .....what a treasure

I had about 300 ml of Gervin English yeast cake, saved in a PET bottle in the fridge for a few days. Thankfully I took it outside to open it because I ended up covered in the stuff. The better half found it quite amusing.
