I'd be interested in any info as well. I think it's the same as the stuff sold by Brouwland/Brewferm.

Hmmm, perhaps I'll try this on the Leffe clone I've been contemplating doing for about a year.

Interesting that this information isn't listed on Brupaks own site. I had asked about them stocking the Brewferm dried yeast before; noted above. You can even see the pics of the Brupaks yeast are, in fact, Brewferm sachets. I've just ordered some so it will be interesting to see what I actually get. 100g for £7 is a great deal.

Belgian ale yeast performance

I brewed a 38 litre batch last Thursday OG 48-50, I pitched 3 packets rehydrated as per instructions. Strong fermentation on the way after just 3 hours, large white foamy kräusen. Fermentation all but over by Friday evening!! Gravity aroung 17 at this stage. I have a feeling it might be a slow clearer. I will check its progress tonight and have a taste. Anyone else have any feed back on this yeast?

Have used this yeast several times and have always been pleased with the results. Gives typical wheat/Belgian flavours such as spice and bubblegum. When fermented warm I've found it produced quite a bit of sulphur. Needs a couple of weeks in the secondary to clean it up before kegging. Overal a very good and authentic yeast.
