Sadler's
Sadler's
I just picked up a Sadler's Mud City stout and a quick google led me to the ratebeer site, where it stated that it was bottle conditioned. I've not opened it yet and as its a stout I can't see any yeast
So, is it bottle conditioned? I can't find out on their own website
And if it is, is the yeast any good? I've never had a Sadler's beer before
Cheers!

Re: Sadler's
Actually scrap that, just opened it up and tasted it - one of the worst stouts I've tried. I suspect it's a bad bottle as the head disappeared quicker than pouring a can of coke. There wasn't the slightest hint of yeast at the base either
Re: Sadler's
I did the brewery tour, they use dry yeast in all of their brews (at least that's what they said). So probably no advantage!
Re: Sadler's
Cheers for the info
Re: Sadler's
You can also buy Timothy Taylors and Oakham though, and they're pretty good brewries.
Re: Sadler's
Last time i went there they were using s04 dry yeast
Re: Sadler's
