Could someone recommend a yeast that would be suitable for this. Also how much do i use?
I'm planning on doing a 30 ltr batch.

The last 1070ish beer I brewed I used WLP007. Came out great :D As for pitching rates check out the calculator on www.mrmalty.com/calc/calc.html should be of some help to you :D

Whatever you use use a lot of it. A lot of people use Nottingham dried yeast as in a beer that big the flavour (or lack of it) of the yeast will get a bit overwhelmed. It's a doddle hitting the pitching rates required for dried yeast - just buy more packets (you need two for that beer). If you were making a starter for a liquid yeast you'd need about a gallon.
