S-04 and Gervin in Symbiosis

Hello All,

Having decided, after some good advice (ty), not to pitch my WLP023 directly into my Almondbury old, I decided to do a 50/50 with Gervin and Safale S-04 rehydrate and pitch.

Within a couple of hours, this was the result.

Last time I used S-04 the same thing happened and the brew had gone its distance by just over 48 hours.
