Just got back from collecting my first sample of yeast from my local brewery! :D

A quick question though....when I say sample, its really quite a lot, a medium/small sized tupperware box full! I'm presuming I won't need all this for a normal 25Ltr batch, so does anyone know how much I should use?

Also how long will the remainder last in the fridge, and what is the best way to store it (I've seen threads on covering with cooled down boiled water??)

It was free and I just popped in (I'm mates with someone who works there and the head brewer said I could pop in any time :D ) I used my own container and sterlised it with iphodor before hand

I did feel the need to buy a few bottles of Best though, just to compare with my Ringwood Best clone I'm doing tomorrow you understand! :lol:
