Brewferm Lager Yeast

Anyone used it? What's it like?

How does it compare to the Saflager? Is it cleaner? More attenuative?

Very clean yeast. Low on both sulphur and diacytel. I use two sachets in a 5 gallon batch and it ferments out in about a week. I keep it about 10 celcius in the primary and then chill it as cold as pos'.

Agree with Shiny - I've used it a few times and produces a good clear /clean tasting beer, fermented down to about 1008 so quite dry. :) Have done various recipes from the Wheeler / Protz Classic European Beers, including an Elephant Beer with an adjusted OG to 1075 - so deals with quite high alcohol levels too.
