Hello all just got home from working in north sea.

First thing i done was taste my scottish heavy that's been in my conditioning tank for 3 weeks yiks it tastes like bread.

I had tried young's dried yeast you get in 100g tubs.

I think i will use the rest as yeast nutrient in the kettle.The Bready flavour might go away with aging though .I was thinking of trying some safale us 56 yeast does anyone know where you can buy it in 500g in the uk.On a good note my heather all made with safale 04 turned out excellent although unusual but very drinkable.
