gervin is Nottingham?????? Yeah.....

Hey guys excuse my Antipodean ignorance,but is the yeast that you call the gervin strain the same as danstar Nottingham?

Thanks for clearing that up.

Noticed it mentioned Quite a bit,so figured it was one of the more reliable ol standard dry yeasts.

Thats handy to know, im going to be doing a strong stout next and i'll be throwing in a sachet of nottingham and a sachet of gervin thats been in the fridge for a couple of months now and keeps getting overlooked.
