Hi Guys
Can anyone advise me if they have been able to capture a yeast culture from Adnam's Ghost Ship bottled beer.

Re: Yeast Culture
Is Ghost Ship bottle conditioned? I don't think it is from memory.
Addams have some bottle conditioned beer you can capture from (although they use a dual strain yeast, which is problematic to get in balance), although others have had great success by buying their mini casks (they have an online shop) and building up from that.
Use the search - there's loads of threads on Adnams yeast here already.

Ingredients: Water, Barley, Hops, Yeast, Seaweed, Blood, Sweat, The swim bladder of a sturgeon, My enemies tears, Scenes of mild peril, An otter's handbag and Riboflavin.

Re: Yeast Culture
I haven't seen a bottle conditioned example but you do get yeast from the mini casks, which as far as I'm aware is the same yeast whatever cask you get.
