Following with interest. I'm hoping the drying process has made it more attenuative and more suitable for bottling, but still with the nice flavour profile of 002. (See recent thread regarding creeping attenuatuion with 002)

I had noticed that 002 (my normal yeast) wasn't as attenuative as I'd like so I started mashing lower to compensate for this. My LP clone using 002 is mashed at 65C and that is the temp that I used this time with this new yeast. I'm aiming for 1012 so leaving a little sweetness behind. Will check again tomorrow as I've raised the fermentation fridge temp to 20C today up from 18.5c. I start at 17C, raise to 18.5C after a first day's fermenting and then after three days raise to 20C.

Still 1014 this evening. Cloudy as feck also. A lot cloudier than 002. Looks like Weissbier. :(

used a pack of this yesterday in my dry stout. I usually use Notty or S-04 may regret it now if it doesnt finish low enough although im sure the result will still be drinkable :D

still at 1014 this evening so I assume it has gone as low as it is going. My same brew using 002 will normally get to 1012. Looks like I'll have to mash at 64 next time rather than 65.

How does it compare to drinking three bottles of Bengal Lancer and pouring all the yeasty ends into one and adding inverted sugar for a few days before slapping it in a brew? Surely cheaper and less hassle if this is that yeast. Bengal lancer yeast is the best to my experience.

I have a three bottle collection of proper job yeast to try too. I see a busy October in the Big Mouth Brewery as I have two identical beers planned in terms of grain and hop bills but one pj and one bl yeast slurry. Should be a nice Christmas comparing them ☺
