Degassing

Hi,

When using a degasser (bendy stick attached to drill) are you supposed to stir the sediment at the bottom of the demijohn too?

Do you only need to stir once, and for how long?

Degassing is best carried out after racking off the sediment. No way would you want to stir up the sediment and spoil the brew.
