What is a Slurry ?

I've heard people on here brewing a Ginger Beer Slurry and the likes. What is it and how do you make one ?

I think the slurry in question was probably mine.

I brewed a ginger beer and then bottled it, but then I added four litres of apple juice to the yeast slurry to see if it would give me ginger flavoured Turbo Cider.

It's still in the garage conditioning so I'll let you know when I finally have one.

So yes, the slurry is the left over yeast at the bottom of a previously brewed and bottled brew.

:D

I use the term in avery loose way. As something that is brewed not so much for the taste but more for its alcohol content.

I suppose a better term for some stuff I brew is no so much Turbo Slurry but Turbo Shite.
