QUOTE (andy @ Dec 27 2005, 10:54 AM) Reg - have you sampled any of the cleared batch over the festive period ?
And how's the new stuff going ?
DAAB - have you been sampling also ?
Not yet Andy,
I've had three lots of guests over the period including my kids and have hence been a tad busy cooking about 6, 6-8 person meals with all the trimmings etc.
Everything went off pretty well and the turkey has finally been rendered down for stock last night which was turned into a soup this morning that was eaten lunchtime today.
Hoping to bottle the racked 1st brew tomorrow into 4, 1-litre fizzy mineral water bottles tomorrow, when I will sample the spare. The second brew has finished and has already started to clear in the fermentation 'john. However, I have guests again tomorrow and a fiancee who is brimming with the need for me to redeem myself having coped with my kids for two days...
Ahh! Christmas.
Nonetheless, the Airhockey I bought my kids was a great success and my properly misspent youth means I was able to teach them a trick or two...
