Have to say me and the lady have been supping this a far bit recently! 2 weeks warm and 2 weeks cold conditioning and its a nice drink. You don't get a huge smack of flavour but for the price can't go wrong. If doing it again I'd brew it a bit lower than 23l to see if that improves the flavour.

Is it normal that there is little foam on the top of this when its fermenting? Mine is definitley happening, but there is no krausen at all like i would get from an ale??

Yeah very different to an ale. Trust the hydrometer! Not 'foam'!

Ok cheers. The hydro is dropping nicely, but was just surprised at the lack of foam!
