Ironically: Mead.

Made some mead yesterday. 3x 900gm jars from Iceland in some hot water, stirred and mixed in with some warm water in a demijohn.
Teaspoon of yeast nutrient, and a spoonfull of youngs wine yeast compound. Got off to a slow start, but is now bubbling away yesterday......

In hindsight, i remember that i was supposed to have used 3x 424gm jars of yeast... as a consequence, my hydrometer couldn't take a reading.. off the scale over 1120.

I think it will be named "Falldown juice".

keep us posted Max, always wanted to do a mead, so when it's ready in three years don't forget to post your findings......

I was supping some of that mead last nigh - I think it may have peaked or possibly even started to deteriorate now....

There isn't too much left though so I don't see it unduly suffering any more!
