TC question from a n00b

Hi all! I joined the forum with the idea of starting to brew some beer but this TC malarky seems like much more fun for a beginner!

I've done a bit of browsing here but there's far to much to take in, I'll still be reading, and thirsty, at Christmas!

I was going to get myself a demi john, an airlock and a hydrometer and kick off with a batch of TC but what else do I need and what can I use to store the finished product in? I've seen both Grolsch-style bottles and PET bottles mentioned but I really have little idea... all and any help welcome.

Definitely like the idea of some home-made "el Cid" though.

Well all you need is:-

1 Demi john.
1 air lock.
1 lot of yeast.
1 Lot of yeast nutrient.
Bottles.

Look in tap room for free bottles, how i getm my bottles...

All you need to do is brew your TC, then transfer to bottles when fermentaion is finished....

Need any more answers just ask... ^_^

{edit} I've been doing lots of reading today. I hereby retract my n00b questions.

Massive respect to Jim, DaaB, Subzero, John Palmer, Wez, Stonch and a couple of others for their excellent and informative sites.

Think I might go for the 5 litre mineral water container method of making some alcoholic lemonade and if that turns out okay I'll try some TC. If things move okay from there I think I might make the jump to some bettter equipment and give a beer kit a go.
