rowan berry

an you make wine out of rowan berries as I have a rowan tree in the garden and it got red berries on it and is it any good.

Thanks for the info. On further investigation there are a few types of rowan and the hybrid type are no good for wine and jellies - very bitter as to the other one. The one I have is the hybrid which even the birds don't eat,I wondered why they never bothered.So i'm going to be keeping to the blackberry and tinned strawberry wine as by lockwoods recipe.

Shame..I was looking into this myself using the above recipe, but am concentrating on many others at the mo!
