Tried the TC again tonight to find the reading stable at 0.997.
Bottled six pints worth with 30ml of apple juice as a primer and drank another one. Good stuff, tasty already and nice and strong at 8%.

Six full bottles...
Nearly there:
Mmm, tasty...
New batch is on and has already filled the bubbler full of froth once!

heheh congrats on your success! Think I might give it a go in the New Year when I have some bottles that aren't full of beer.

Looks excellent !!!!
As for your lemon brew, I have one on the go myself but I need a little advice please.
How will I go about putting some fizz into it ? I think I understand priming and so on but I got something wrong first time around and ended up with a flat apple wine type thing ( which was fine ). I don't really fancy supping some bitter flat lemon drink so any advice on when and how to put some bubbles into it would be very welcome.
Thanks for any help and happy brewing to all.

I'm pretty new to this myself (two weeks and counting!). I primed the TC with 30ml of apple juice that will, hopefully, give a bit of fizz to the bottles.
I think I'll probably prime half of the Atomic Lemon with sugar (1/2 to 1 tsp per 500ml as an experiment) and bottle the rest without priming in 500ml PET bottles which I'll then serve 50/50 with lemonade - the amount of sugar I put into the recipe means it will probably be 10%+ and a little on the strong side for casual supping.
Plus it was made with the wife in mind so I don't want her turning into The Brown Bottle!

Yes but when do I prime it ?? When it is down to about 1.000 on the hydrometer ? Then leave it in plastic bottles for 2-3 days and then it should be fizzy and ready to drink ??? Or when it has completely fermented down ???
I really am quite clueless on this subject and I read so many differing opinions that I only get more confused!!!
thanks again.

You can leave it to fully ferment out and then bottle and prime it. If you have a hydrometer this can be shown by two readings 24hrs apart that are the same.

Just popped the first bottle tonight. Despite only having been conditioned a week it already has a reasonable carbonation.
Nice and dry,
very strong, in fact deceptively so, good flavour - very similar to the Real Cider I've been buying from the shop in town.
Can feel my cheeks getting a bit numb.
Very very moreish.

Just bottled batches #3 and #4.
Sixteen bottles of tipsy juice.
Batches #5 and #6 have just gone on, pitched over the sludge of the previous batches. Been lucky so far with no contamination but I'll start afresh the next time.
