let us know what it is like with coke, as its not as strong as Tia say if you would have a double measure of Tia and coke maybe try a quad measure see what that is like, i may start a batch this weekend.Chicken Dipper wrote:Not sure what mine ended up at as I fed it with sugar until the yeast, young super yeast compound, gave out. It's very warming and I'm certain it's very strong! Will try some with coke over the weekend in the name of science of course!
Coffee wine?

Sounds great for making White Russians.
Vodka, Coffee liqueur and cream, over ice.
Ideal for the Big Lebowski drinking game. Watch the film and match the "dude" drink for drink. Responsibly, of course.

I'm thinking I might rack mine this weekend, it's just getting clear but still working.
But when I rack, a vanilla pod or just some essence/extract?

Re: Coffee wine?
Which did you go for? I used some Madagascan Vanilla extract that was in the baking cupboard.. Don't think it's relevant that it came from Madagasca!

I did a pod. The vanilla doesn't seem to have come through as much as when I used essence (or was it extract?) last time.
Re: Coffee wine?
That's interesting. The bitterness in mine is mellowing slightly. I will definitely do this again, but will make it will fresh ground coffee.
