Ok...I've now had a couple of litres of this drink. It is very bitter, in a good way, but under-sweetened, as I previously mentioned. Now, when I pour myself half a litre, I add a packet of mixed stevia/dextrose. It's equivalent to 2 packets of sugar. That brings it just inside the edge of balance...but I like bitterness in drinks.
All in all, I think I'll eventually do it again, but maybe with regular oranges, and certainly more sweetener.
Secondary FV: As yet unnamed Weizenbock ~7%
Bulk aging: Soodo: Grocery store grape juice wine experiment.
Drinking: Mostly Canadian whisky until I start brewing again.
