Well after 5 days my TC is continuing to bubble once every 5 seconds & is still very cloudy. I was going to add a picture of it but can't seem to post it up??? Any hints on that one??
Anyway I'll wait until it's stopped it's banzai bubbling & rack off into 2L bottles (primed) where it will hopefully clear out quite a bit, I understand there is no need for finings??

And as if by magic!! I don't know...the tings ye learn on this here website!! :D [img]http://[/IMG]

mmmnnn, maybe that didn't work!

QUOTE (hairytoes @ Aug 2 2006, 09:14 PM) One thing though, I did the exact same with pomegranete juice to see what happens. Although i've just noticed that the fecking stuff is only 37% juice. I hate shopping
I don't suppose this will work now eh???
Has anything happened with the pomegranete juice? Has it been sampled?

I'm happy to report that my 3rd attempt at TC is a sucess.

This is not my opinion but that of the wife and another apple guzzlin monster.

It smells apply and doesn't have the nasty phenolic taste of the others. This was obviously due to excess heat as this batch was kept in a cupboard with ice blocks to keep it cool ;)

PoP the pomegranate guice is still bubbling at once every 5 seconds, so I'll leave it until tommorrow - it is also very cloudy & sort of muddy looking, so not holding out much luck for it  , but I'm sure it'll get drunk eventually, I'll just bottle it & leave it in the back of the garage for a while.
Bottling the TC tonight, will give it a try at the weekend! B)

I wonder why my picture didn't come up?? Tried everything DaaB suggested, I uploaded the pic to the other website successfully & copied & pasted the bottom link thingy to the IMG command above.
Any pointers (again LOL)
Also what does btw mean, keep seeing it everywhere.
 < & who's he??

hahaha, can tell i'm new to all this!!

btw: by the way.

one that always got me was AFAIK.... which is "as far as i know" but f**k me it took a few years to get round to understanding all this abreviated internet nonsense....

HT most red wine goes muddy during ferment so I'm sure it'll be o.k

I'm still not too keen on the TC but I've got to give it more time. I can't stand much gas in beer, but there has to be plenty in cider for me.
I'd certainly say I will drink it, its more apply and no FUSEL alcohol.

The tc is only slightly carbonated in the mouth after 1 1/2 weeks , to be expected really, but its giving plenty on contact with the glass.

TC all bottled up, I put quite a bit of priming sugar in, as I had a wee sneaky taste & it was pretty tart, quite appley though.
Just one thing, it did seem to smell a bit like the dog had farted in it!! :out
Is this the phonic smell Vossy was on about?? A bit like sweaty egg sandwiches or something like that...

Hope you didn't put too much priming sugar in or you could have a lot of small bombs on your hands....

Canderal or such like can be added to sweeten and not cause small bombs.

Dog farts, sweaty egg sandwiches. Sure you havent brewed a bass clone
