I know it's not really interesting, but it gives me an excuse to practice uploading piccies onto the site. So here is a piccy of my Turbo Cider & the Pomegranate version, which has now cleared quite a bit & will be bottled tonight - for tasting on Friday.
Hopefully it's gone well. I'll make sure not to put too much priming sugar in the bottles for the pomegranate Turbo Wine.
I'll let you guy's know how it tastes, in the name of science.

The wifes just cracked a TC that's been in the bottle since the 24/07. I took a little sip and WOW...yes WOW.
I wasn't keen on this stuff at first, but with a bit of time its turned into a bubbly gr8 tasting cider. It was too dry at first but its got sweeter with time
I wouldn't drink a fresh TC but I'd drink this one readily :stun

i was thinking about making some tc tonight but i'm not really a cider lover so i was thinking about doing it with say cranberry. Would this work or not? i have only heard of apple or pear cider and pear doesn't really appeal to me either. Also i only have one airlock and it's already on duty on a more important project so can i just crack the lid on a plastic 5L water bottle to let out the gas and hope for no infection. I read in the threads thad cider is not so prone to infection like beer

found a nice 6 litre water bottle for 1.99 euro, perfect for the job. Started at 1065, i used bread yeast and four litres of apple and one cranberry, not to bothered if it doesn't taste great cause i'm not a cider drinker anyway i'm more interested how it finishes up

alexander, I've also got some cranberry on at the moment, has been bubbling steadily for 15 days now!! when will it stop ? I don't know!!
I thought it would come out very dry also, as cranberry juice itself is a very dry drink, but we'll see..

Hi Garth did you do just cranberry or a mix? it's exciting to watch it, there's a massive yeast head on mine this morning and even though i have no airlock on it i looked real close and it looked like it was breathing, honest to god i could see it moving. I showed my girlfriend and she wanted me to throw it out but if it was a choice she could be in for a surprise!!!!! 15 days it's lucky you're not thirsty!!

Is it called turbo because it is really quick to get started? Definately not because of the speed it ferments!!
