A Meadery

Post by Reg » Tue Mar 15, 2005 3:59 pm

This is a new one on me that there is such a thing...

We just had an ad up for somethig called the Rabbit's Foot Meadery...

Now that's something else I'd quite like to know about.

I tried making mead once. It was crap.

I've had Lindisfarne Mead, though and it was very nice. The monks on Holy Island make it, and you can buy it on the island (I've seen it in some supermarkets as well).

That stuff's fortified with spirit though, so it's not the same as most homebrew meads.

The Actor, Peter O'toole was partial to the mead...apparently.

I've never had it. what's it made of?
