well, there's green guinness..

is it possible (theoretically, of course) to brew a beer containing..er..herbs?

Nope, the only other thing I've ever touched is fags. And I gave them up 25 years ago; they use up all your beer money.

I vaguely remember trying a hemp beer while in a pub in York (THe Evil Eye). Must say that I think the idea of having hemp in the beer is more a novelty than anything else. Since Hemp doesn't contain the chemical that gives you the buzz that marajuana does, I think it can be no more than a novelty

Using Marajuana in your beer would be completely feasable since it is so closely related to the Hop plant anyway. I would hate to thikn how expensive that beer would be considering an ounze of marajuana could cost you upwards of Ã‚Â£80 (might be more, might be less been a long long time since I smoked that stuff!)

You can make cakes with cannabis I've, erm, heard, using resin so it must be able to withstand pretty hot temperatures. so perhaps you could add that after the boil and allow it to steep for a while?
