CIDER AGAINNN.....

Post by jean-yves » Mon Oct 17, 2005 9:57 pm

It's the cider season and the apples are on the ground, next week we're going to collect about 2 tonnes of apples B)

last week I've been at a cider-session all day learning how to improve the method of making cider, it's very interesting and I've learnt many things, at the end of the day we've taste some cider

hope my cider will be better this year :wall

QUOTE (Daft as a Brush @ Oct 24 2005, 12:48 AM) 2.5 tonnes!!! How many gallons will that make and how long will it take?
I've still apples to pick, I think to get about 3-3.5 tonnes :D
it could give me about 330 gallons of cider B) , my cider press is not very powerful (1T give 50% of wort=500ltr) normally with a bigger one it must give about 60-65%

It'll take two weeks to do it! well in fact we aren't working all the time, we can stop and have a little drink :stun

I think you'll have to wait that we finish our web site next month ;)

I wanted to send you some pictures of my brewery and equipements. It could be good to see the brewery of the others members :P
