Also got some TC on the go, my first batch made with co-op juice and 350grms of honey and youngs wine yeast.

I love this brewing lark and TC is about as much fun as you can have while dressed and at home.
I was inspired by subzero's lemon drink so I thought I'd throw any old stuff in and see how it goes.Jim wrote:Some interesting experimental stuff, TT. Is that your own recipe, or from a book?
Hey, great that i inspired you with the lemon drink, i myself have only been brewing for about 1 and a half months and i to brew kits and thought TC would be a good way to experiment.Tutu wrote:I was inspired by subzero's lemon drink so I thought I'd throw any old stuff in and see how it goes.Jim wrote:Some interesting experimental stuff, TT. Thinking of racking the cider and alcopop into 5ltr water bottle's and adding finnings. When completely clear bottling, take it to my friends party (He lives 200+ miles away), chill and sodastream them to get carbonation.
Still got 1 DJ free, I only started brewing 2 months ago but it's darn fun and addictive and since I'm only using beer kits this is an easy avenue to experiment with.
You've done better than my mate who (against my advice) decided to make his first batch of turbo 'cider' from 4 litres of pineapple juice and a little apple juice... He dubbed it 'pinery' and suffice to say several weeks later it still tasted like tropical drain cleaner.Tutu wrote:Just tried the pineapple concoction, it's very very nice
