I know loads of you use spent grain for doggy biscuits and dog food.
Got a rough idea of the ingriedients.
Any chance of some recipies?

No problem....

(Excuse the "ruff" ingredient quantities)

Some spent grain (NO spent hops!!)
An egg or two
A few spoonfuls of peanut butter
Some molasses (optional)

Mix all together, spread out on a greased baking sheet/tray, then run through with a pizza cutter or knife to define the sizes before you cook. This way, they'll break apart easily later.

Cook in a low (120-140C??) oven for an hour or two or three - depends on your oven really.....they should still be a bit gooey when you take them out, but will harden off if you leave overnight.

My dog loves 'em......but I can still only use up a fraction of the spent grain. Maybe there's a business to be had here....although "Bad Dog Biscuits" is trademarked already!

I got all interested because I've never eaten dog meat...Sorry wrong type of Dog Recipes

Trying to convince the SWIMBO that we should keep chickens so the spent grains don't go to waste, that way I have yet another excuse to brew among the many I already use. :D
