Brand New Blog

Post by Adam » Sat Feb 16, 2008 8:45 pm

I wanted to add some photo's to my posts, looked at photobucket and thought it wasn't enough for me so i went the blog route.

Blog is simple record of my homebrewing experiences that all started recently and have been helped by lots of people on the site.

Have a look if you want to, most of the information and images will have cropped up in my posts here and in turn been influenced by the replies.

thank you for taking a look ColinKeb.

BEWARE - SELF PROMOTION

Got my brewbook up to date today and then thought i would update my blog too.

all 21 posts in March are new if you want to see what i have been up to or you can just dip into specific brews... guessing Tomato Tang may be a popular one to view.

I read all of your blog and now I don't know which it would be more scary to be - your liver or carpet :=P

Seriously though, all the experimental brewing, especially that tomato madness, is great fun, love it!

thanks for reading.

just found out that you can make tomato wine... to be fair it comes from fresh tomato's and its recommended that its left alone for a year but my brew is now not as out there as i was beginning to think.

Adam best of luck with your tomatoe wine I had some in the Tomatoe Museum in Guernsey  ,it was raining I was living on a boat and I was bored,
It put me off both tomatoes and wine for some considerable time.

Updated again, it seems i can only bring myself to do this updating lark in big blocks.

I listed the status and tastes of all my brews, i have done 21 so far, doesn't seem like that many.

Sad that Cockneyron was put of both tomatos and wine in Guernsey.

Prolix i didn't look at my mead or disturb it for two weeks and it cleared, it would have been 4/5 weeks in total, tastes like ethanol but i am hoping to be warm and full of honey taste in 6 months.

TC2642 the experiments will continue i am thinking of doing one brew of whatever size p/week to keep it all ticking over.

blog link is now in my signature.
thank you everyone who commented or read.
